What you can donate
We review every item case by case. We don't accept CRT monitors. Pick your device to see how to get it ready.
Shipping one device, or clearing out an office
Single devices are shipped from Arizona after your form is approved. Donors ship at their own cost, and shipping is sometimes reimbursed. We send the address only once your donation is approved, so please don't ship anything before you hear from us.
Businesses, schools and offices in Arizona with many devices can schedule a bulk pickup. Send us a list of what you have and we'll plan it with you.

Who donates from Arizona
Arizona donations often come from homes in Phoenix, Mesa and Tucson, offices in the semiconductor and tech corridor, university departments and retirement communities. Seasonal residents also donate from a second home before heading north for the summer.
Desert heat is hard on electronics. Never leave a laptop or tablet in a parked car, and ship early in the day so the box isn't sitting on a hot dock.
Donating from home
A home donation from Arizona usually takes three steps: the form, our review, and shipping after approval. Photos help our team decide quickly.
Whether you live in Mesa or a rural part of the state, you'll get the same instructions once your donation is approved.
Businesses, schools and nonprofits
Bulk donations from Arizona are picked up after approval. Schools, clinics, law firms and companies of every size donate this way.
List the equipment, where it is, and whether drives are included. Businesses can request a certificate of data destruction.
Your data
We wipe every device with Acronis before it's reused. You can protect yourself further by backing up, signing out of your accounts and resetting the device before you donate. Our guides cover Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad and Android.
Taxes for Arizona donors
Computers with Causes is a program of Giving Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. If you itemize, you may be able to deduct the fair market value of your donation on your federal return. Starting in 2026, itemizers can deduct only giving above 0.5% of adjusted gross income.
State tax rules vary. Ask your tax preparer how a donation affects your Arizona return. Our tax guide explains the federal rules.
