Who donates from Arkansas

Arkansas donations come from Little Rock offices and state agencies, the corporate and retail suppliers clustered in Northwest Arkansas, university campuses in Fayetteville and Jonesboro, and small towns across the Delta and the Ozarks.

Humid summers mean you should store a packed device somewhere dry and indoors. If a computer sat in a damp garage or shed, mention it on the form.

Donating from home

For a single computer in Arkansas, start with the form. Include the make and model, its condition, photos and an estimated value.

If it's approved, we'll email the shipping address and what to include. Donors in Little Rock and every other part of Arkansas ship at their own cost.

Businesses, schools and nonprofits

If your Arkansas business or school has more than a few devices, ask about bulk pickup. It is available in all states, including everywhere in Arkansas.

Send your list with the form and we'll plan the pickup with you.

Your data

We wipe every device with Acronis before it's reused. You can protect yourself further by backing up, signing out of your accounts and resetting the device before you donate. Our guides cover Windows, Mac, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad and Android.

Taxes for Arkansas donors

Computers with Causes is a program of Giving Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. If you itemize, you may be able to deduct the fair market value of your donation on your federal return. Starting in 2026, itemizers can deduct only giving above 0.5% of adjusted gross income.

State tax rules vary. Ask your tax preparer how a donation affects your Arkansas return. Our tax guide explains the federal rules.
